Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 base pay per annum D.O.E.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Professional with 5-15 years of experience to join our Client's team in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in site assessment, investigation, and remediation, with demonstrated experience working within a California regulatory body such as the EPA, DTSC, and/or LADWP among others. This role requires strong technical report writing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive site assessments and investigations to evaluate environmental conditions.
• Develop and implement remediation strategies in compliance with California regulations.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, including site assessment reports, remediation plans, and regulatory compliance documents leveraging past experience with regulatory bodies/state agencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and community stakeholders to facilitate communication and project updates.
• Stay informed of current environmental regulations, trends, and technologies impacting site assessment and remediation practices.
• Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for clients and regulatory entities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-15 years of experience in environmental consulting or related field, with specific experience in site assessment, investigation, and remediation.
• Previous experience working with/at California regulatory bodies (EPA, DTSC, LADWP, etc.) is essential.
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
