About the Position

We are seeking a tenure-track faculty member to join our academic community in the field of environmental science. The ideal candidate will have expertise in environmental law and policy, with a focus on invasive species.

The successful candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary team collaborations and contribute to the development of solutions to global environmental problems.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental law, policy, and science-policy interactions
• Develop new elective courses at the intersections of invasive species, law, policy, management, the environment, and sustainability
• Conduct research and present original findings related to environmental policy or law in peer-reviewed journals
• Support the development of a center of excellence focusing on invasive species science, technology, management, outreach, and policy

Requirements
• JD or PhD in public policy, law, or related discipline
• Demonstrated scholarly achievement and ability to work across multiple disciplines and topical areas in environmental policy or law
• Demonstrated commitment to principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in teaching and research
