Environmental Policy Analyst

The Environmental Policy Analyst will play a key role in developing and implementing environmental policies, working closely with departmental staff to ensure that programs and projects meet environmental regulations and standards. The analyst will review and analyze data, reports, and other information to inform policy decisions, as well as provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as knowledge of environmental regulations and standards. The analyst will also collaborate with stakeholders to promote environmental initiatives and address emerging issues.

• Technical assistance and support to project teams.
• Stakeholder engagement and outreach.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, biology, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in environmental policy or a related field.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with data analysis software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working on environmental policy projects, including policy development and implementation.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental permitting and compliance.
• Policy analysis certifications, such as CAP or CAPP.

About This Position:

This is a full-time position within the Office of Environmental Programs (OEP). OEP develops environmental policy, oversees environmental compliance, and leads environmental initiatives.
