Job Description

Adani Realty is seeking an Environmental Planner in Mumbai, India. The role involves creating plans for environmentally sensitive projects, collaborating with various professionals, conducting environmental research, and supervising project implementation. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a Master's in a related field, with 8-10 years of experience. Strong knowledge of environmental laws and innovative problem-solving skills are essential. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the creation of detailed plans, drawings, and models for environmentally sensitive infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, urban designers, engineers, and city planners to ensure cohesive and sustainable designs.
• Conduct research and analysis on environmental conditions, land use, and zoning regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Supervise the construction and installation of infrastructure projects to ensure they match the original plan.
• Integrate sustainability principles into all design projects, particularly on environmentally sensitive sites.
• Lead and manage a team of environmental planners and consultants.
• Steer the work programme and deliverables from the environmental consultants.
• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master's degree in Sustainable Development, Climate Change, ESG, or Environmental Planning.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in environmental planning and design.
• Hands-on experience with sea level rise, flood mitigation strategies, climate change studies, and mitigation strategies.
• Implementation experience of projects in environmentally sensitive and CRZ zones.
• Comprehensive knowledge of environmental laws and CRZ regulations.
• Ability to find innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Ability to work with Microsoft tools and GIS.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• International experience is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications
• Professional licensure in civil engineering or a related field.
• LEED or IGBC accreditation is preferred.
• Experience in a consulting or design firm.
