What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll lead and coordinate the delivery of environmental permit applications and variations, ensuring they align with the HPC project schedule. Your expertise will support Environmental Managers and Technical Leads across a range of permitting and technical topics.You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and manage contractors delivering specialist assessments. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring permits are secured on time, enabling the safe and compliant construction of HPC.As the project progresses, you’ll also support commissioning and operational teams, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in environmental permitting across the EDF group. Who You AreYou bring a strong background in environmental science or engineering, with hands-on experience in environmental permitting. You understand the Environmental Permitting Regulations (England and Wales) 2016 and have worked with regulators like the EA, NRW, or SEPA.You’re a clear communicator, a team player, and someone who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.
