Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our Instrumentation and Monitoring team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with power tools and have experience in surveying.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying and promoting our health and safety rules, assisting the instrumentation team in daily monitoring/surveying activities, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to work without supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to a culture of safety in all work environments and demonstrate attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
• Assist the instrumentation team in carrying out daily monitoring/surveying activities.
• Maintain accurate monitoring records and documentation.
• Generating deliverable documentation including technical reports and data summaries.
• Manage client expectations and scope changes through active communication.
• Identify and resolve client, project and/or team issues.
Requirements
• Previous surveying experience an asset, specifically with utilizing a total station or similar equipment.
• Ability to work with power tools.
• Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organization; is a great team member.
• Ability to work without supervision, effective time management and strong organizational skills.
• Contribute on an on-going culture of safety in all work environments.
• Ability to work to deadlines and see tasks through to completion.
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous construction experience is an asset.
• Valid provincial driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
