Kelly Science is excited to announce a contract-to-hire opportunity for Environmental Monitor Technicians in Winston Salem, NC. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility, where attention to detail and adherence to protocols are paramount. The Environmental Monitor Technician will be responsible for conducting routine environmental monitoring and supporting various activities that ensure compliance with industry standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to contribute to a team focused on quality and safety in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sector. The Environmental Monitor Technician will work in a structured environment, performing tasks that include monitoring GMP areas, conducting personnel monitoring for manufacturing operations, and setting up and operating environmental monitoring equipment. The technician will be expected to follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and established protocols meticulously. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the reading, revising, and training on SOPs, WIs, forms, and protocols, ensuring that all team members are well-informed and compliant with the necessary guidelines. Data management is a critical aspect of this position, as the technician will track and trend data collected on environmental monitoring, bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin levels. The technician will also support the Quality Control Micro Analyst in sample receipt from manufacturing, perform inventory stocking in QC labs, and request new materials from the warehouse as needed. The role may also involve conducting streaking and isolation of recovered organisms, along with other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements
• Education/Training: High School Diploma or greater.

• Experience: 0-3 years; previous experience in a GMP facility is a major plus.

• Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and understand schedules.

• Understanding of the importance of compliance.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
