Environmental Modelling Lead

beBee Careers is seeking an experienced Environmental Modelling Lead in London, UK, to lead climate scenario analysis and modelling for financial institutions. The role requires strong technical skills in climate-related risks and experience in delivering such analyses. A qualified senior actuary is preferred, with experience in CBES exercises for insurers or banks being beneficial. This is a full-time position.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading and delivering our climate scenario analysis and modelling efforts, working closely with key teams to shape our approach to embedding climate-related risk management into business and investment decisions.
Critical Skills and Experience
• Strong technical skills and understanding of climate-related risks and opportunities for Financial Institutions
• Qualified senior actuary or strong understanding and practical delivery of climate scenario analysis and modelling
• Experience in leading and delivering a CBES type exercise for an Insurer or banking institution would be beneficial
