Job Description
SK Battery America is seeking an Environmental Manager in Georgia to develop and implement environmental policies, conduct impact assessments, manage waste programs, and lead a team of specialists. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in environmental management. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills are required.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
• Manage waste reduction recycling, and disposal programs
• Oversee the implementation of energy-efficient practices and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into facility operations
• Monitor and report environmental performance metrics
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes related to environmental sustainability
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental specialists and technicians
• Prepare and present environmental reports to senior management and regulatory agencies
Skill and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in the manufacturing or energy sectors
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of implementing successful environmental initiatives
• Leadership experience and ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in environmental management software and tools.
