Job Description

LaBella Associates is seeking an Environmental Manager for their Daphne, Alabama office. The role involves leading business development in the Mobile Bay area, mentoring staff, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have a B.S. in a related field and at least 8 years of experience. The position offers a flexible work schedule and various benefits, including health insurance and paid time off.
We are currently seeking an Environmental Manager for our Daphne, Alabama, office. This position is available to an experienced engineer, geologist, or environmental scientist with the drive and desire to make an impact in the Mobile Bay Community.

You will be responsible for leading and growing our business in the Mobile Bay area, mentoring staff, and managing projects, all of which will enable LaBella to provide another local option for industrial clients. You may also assist with growing business for other disciplines within LaBella that are not currently in Daphne.

Duties

Assist with business development in the Mobile Bay area of Alabama.

Monitor utilization, growth, and training of staff.

Engage in public outreach, marketing, and client communication.

Manage preliminary investigation through remediation O&M for multiple projects.

Review for quality assurance and control and ensure compliance with LaBella’s quality standards.

Responsible for contracts, scope of services, budgets, and schedules.

Participate in and facilitate meetings with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

Requirements

B.S. degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, specifically with remedial investigations and active remediation.

Licensed professional engineer or geologist preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience working directly with clients.

Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply knowledge to a high variety of projects.

Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.

Possess traits of a team player and able to work with in house, multi-disciplinary engineers and outside specialty consultants.
