Job Description

Global Partners LP is seeking an Environmental Manager in Vermont to ensure environmental compliance at terminal locations across Virginia, Maryland, the Carolinas, and Georgia. Responsibilities include overseeing permits, compliance reporting, audits, and training personnel. The role requires travel to terminals for support and coaching. The Environmental Manager will be the primary contact providing environmental compliance site support to managers and employees at Terminal locations across Virginia, Maryland, the Carolinas, and Georgia. This role is responsible for ensuring terminals adhere to environmental regulatory requirements and company policies. Key responsibilities include overseeing environmental permits, conducting compliance reporting, performing audits, and training personnel on environmental policies.

Responsibilities
• Support Terminal facilities with hazardous waste management, air permit compliance, and stormwater reporting
• Coordinate Emergency Planning and Community Right To Know (EPCRA) filings
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills
• Oversee environmental consultants during remediation activities
• Develop and monitor budgets related to environmental compliance
• Interface with regulatory authorities and third parties
• Manage tracking and fulfillment of legal and environmental requirements
• Travel to terminals for site support, coaching, and training
• Monitor Environmental Management Information Systems
• Participate in audits to ensure legal and environmental compliance
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports
• Review and approve regulatory submissions
• Stay updated on state and federal regulations and legislation

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years' experience with environmental compliance in MD, VA, NC, SC, or GA
• Willingness to travel overnight

• Strong budgeting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
