Job Description
• Post Graduate degree in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Planning or similar qualification.
• Professional Experience of at least 8 years in handling Highway projects.
• Ø Disseminate and Communicate EHS Policy, EHS Management System requirements to project personnel.
• Ø Update the EMP Plan to the requirements of the activities being conducted when there is a revision.
• Ø Identify key issues for biodiversity in the Project.
• Ø Plan and conduct Internal Environment training programs, initiate drive to promote awareness on Biodiversity requirements.
• Ø Identify the client requirement for Biodiversity and ensure its compliance.
• Ø Identify alternatives that could avoid or minimize impacts on biodiversity.
• Ø Advise on the need for additional specialists to investigate specific ecosystem components.
• Ø Monitoring of Air, Water, Noise, and other environmental attributes related to both land and under water.
