Environmental Inspector

B2 Environmental, Inc. is hiring an Environmental Inspector for field and office work in Grand Island, NE. The role involves environmental inspections, air monitoring, and indoor air quality investigations. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a valid driver's license. Experience in environmental sciences or construction management is preferred. The position requires some travel (up to 25%) and offers a full-time schedule with benefits.
B2 Environmental, Inc. (B2E) currently has a position available, entry level and/or experienced. This position includes environmental inspections and monitoring In Grand Island and throughout the central and western parts of Nebraska. Studies in sciences related field or construction management are a plus for this position. Position will include both field work and office work.

Duties may include:

Performing on-site asbestos, lead-paint, mold and other regulated materials investigations;

Oversight/air monitoring the removal activities of asbestos, lead-paint, mold, and other regulated materials;

Indoor air quality investigations;

Industrial hygiene testing;

General proposal and report writing.

Preferred Qualifications. Salary based upon the following:
• 0-5+ years experience (entry level to experienced);
• Excellent reading, writing, computer/Windows/Microsoft Office, and communication skills are also necessary;
• Current training a plus but no required. Training may include; Asbestos AHERA inspector, Lead sampling technician, Mold sampling technician, OSHA safety, HAZWOPER, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives;
• Willingness to travel; travel time between 0-25%.
• Current valid driver's license and clean driving record;
• Ability to pass a background check as required by our clients;
• Ability to operate heavy construction equipment a plus;
• Knowledge of general building construction a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCADD/QCAD a plus.
