Environmental Impact Analyst

This role involves analyzing and developing solutions to reduce the environmental impact of international agricultural sectors.
About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Analyst to join our team. As a key link between the Head of Sustainable Sourcing and Impact (SSI) and Analysts, you will work predominantly in international agricultural sectors such as coffee, cocoa, tea, spices, fruits, and more.

Your primary focus will be on developing frameworks for measuring environmental impact, conducting evaluations, and creating sustainable business models. You will also assist in establishing income levels of smallholder farmers, determining production costs, and developing business models for companies.
Responsibilities
• Analyze data: Develop extensive quantitative financial analyses, conduct statistical analyses, and estimate environmental impact.
• Strategy consulting: Provide market insights to develop strategic opportunities.
• Project management: Oversee project journeys from proposal development to closure.
• Business Development: Analyze regulatory trends, write proposals, attend conferences, and seek partnerships.
Requirements

• A minimum of one year's experience managing projects.
• Educational and work experience related to econometric models and/or environmental impact assessments.
• Documentation for working in South Africa; no sponsorship provided.
