Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated hydrogeologist to join our Tucson office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of groundwater principles and be able to apply hydrogeologic concepts to characterize and assess groundwater systems. Key responsibilities include compiling, processing, and analyzing hydrogeologic data, creating and maintaining project databases, and assisting with data input, processing, and analysis for groundwater modeling activities.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing water budgets and hydrogeologic conceptual models using spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and graphing software. Additionally, they will prepare data summaries, presentations, and technical reports/memos, and participate in client meetings/teleconferences to present program results and recommendations.

The position requires a graduate degree in hydrology or geology with hydrology courses strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and possess excellent communication skills (oral and written). Experience working on data analysis to support groundwater modeling is preferred, as well as up to 4 years of experience in water resources or environmental consulting.
