Job Description
Roche is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist in Milan, Italy. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and managing safety programs, conducting inspections, and providing guidance on health and safety issues. The position offers a salary range of €38,143–€47,873 annually.
We are looking for a passionate and committed Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our Roche team! As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance on environmental, health and safety issues to ensure regulatory compliance. You will also develop, implement and manage environmental, health and safety programs and procedures.The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in environmental health, safety, engineering, or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You should have a working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and be able to develop and manage safety programs, conduct safety inspections, and track safety data. You should also have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety programs and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
Conduct safety inspections and track safety data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide expertise and guidance on environmental, health, and safety issues to ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Identify and analyze potential environmental, health, and safety risks.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on environmental, health, and safety topics.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and procedures.
Prepare reports and documents related to safety activities.
Investigate and respond to safety incidents and accidents.
