Environmental Health and Safety Officer

Shopee is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Officer in Singapore to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities include developing safety policies, conducting audits, providing training, and monitoring compliance with regulations. The role requires collaboration across departments to promote safety and sustainability, alongside maintaining records and leading safety initiatives. This is a full-time position with a salary range of SGD 3.5K–SGD 8.5K per month.

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the company.
Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
Monitor workplace practices and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.
Investigate and document any accidents or incidents that occur in the workplace.
Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to prepare employees for potential hazards.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to environmental health and safety and make recommendations for improvement.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to safety incidents, training, and compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize potential risks.
Work with external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards.
Communicate and enforce safety policies and procedures to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
Lead and participate in safety committees and meetings.
Monitor and track the company's environmental impact and make recommendations for improvement.
Continuously evaluate and improve the company's environmental health and safety program.
