Job Overview

Are you a student looking to gain experience working on meaningful projects with a supportive team? Marvin is seeking a summer intern to join the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) department at our Grafton, ND location. Gain experience in a variety of EHS areas including ergonomics, improvements to safety training methods, root cause analysis, incident management, implementation and sustainment of workplace 5S, and more.

You might be the ideal candidate if you’ve had some exposure to lean manufacturing principles and safety management computer programs. Highlights of your role
• Conduct hazard recognition and ergonomic studies
• Develop and deliver safety training for team members
• Review implementation and sustainment of current 5S program
• Participate in reporting and tracking of environmental agency requirements
• Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
• Some experience with safety management software preferred
• Ability to thrive when working collaboratively in team environments
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts
