Jaguar Land Rover is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures that will ensure the safety of our employees and visitors.We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to safety and environmental protection, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be comfortable collaborating with all levels of the organization.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field. Responsibilities of the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator:
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and standards that meet organizational and legal requirements.
Monitor organizational safety performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Identify safety risks and hazards and advise management on appropriate solutions.
Investigate safety incidents and accidents and provide corrective measures.
Conduct safety inspections and tests, and provide feedback to management.
Educate and train employees on safety policies and procedures.
Maintain records of safety inspections and audits.
Monitor environmental compliance and provide advice on environmental protection.
Prepare reports and other documents related to safety and environmental issues.
Coordinate with external safety and environmental agencies, as needed.
