The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist for wind and solar projects in Hamburg, Germany. Job Title: Environmental Health Safety Specialist - Wind & Solar Projects

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid)

TGRC is excited to be partnering with an asset manager with over 20 years of experience offering renewable energy investment solutions. Focusing on wind and solar farms, the business has a track record of over 90 transactions and a portfolio of €2.3 billion in assets under management in Europe.

Based in Hamburg with 110 employees, the business is now looking for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join their team across Germany.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Additionally, the creation of operating instructions
• Verification of qualifications and compilation of training documents
• Furthermore, conducting emergency drills
• Advising the staff and management on the topic of occupational safety
• Support the teams regarding HSSE in the construction and operational phases
• Support in performance monitoring of service providers
• Implementation of legal and internal requirements in occupational safety
• Continuous development of internal and external processes

Your Profile:
• University or equivalent training (technician, master) in the field of occupational safety, environmental protection or health protection.
• Qualification as an occupational safety specialist is desirable, preferably also as a SiGeKo or fire protection officer.
• Knowledge of the construction industry or medicine, emergency services, fire brigade or similar aid organizations is desirable.
• Furthermore, willingness to travel (car driving license required).
• Lastly, German Fluent.
