Job Description
RightWorks, a semiconductor manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The role involves ensuring safety compliance, conducting risk assessments, and managing safety programs. Candidates should have a relevant degree or experience in EHS compliance. The position offers a salary of $65k-$75k, excellent benefits, and additional perks. This is a full-time position based on-site in Phoenix.

We are a Mid-Sized Semiconductor manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona.
We are seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist (EHS) to join our growing team!
What We Do:
Manufacture and provide electronic-grade silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry.

What You'll do:
• Work with the Sr. EHS Manager on Safety compliance programs at assigned facility including
Lock out/Tag Out program, Respiratory protection program, Fall protection program.
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis)
• Maintain and manage the Arsenic Program.
• Maintain and manage the Emergency Response Team.
• Assist in internal EHS Auditing
• Maintain the appropriate training and skills to conduct the tasks noted above.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or safety science or engineering or other physical science or
commensurate experience in site-level EHS compliance in a manufacturing or industrial
environment.
• Experience working with regulators during routine inspections, permit
applications and modifications etc.
• Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
associated with a manufacturing facility.
• An understanding of and practical experience in Safety regulations; OSHA regulations Standards
29 CFR1910 and 29 CFR1926 In addition, a working understanding and experience with
conducting accident/injury investigations including root cause analyses.
