Pertemps Network Group is hiring a Senior EHS Advisor in Redditch, UK, with a salary of £40-45k. The role involves conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with EHS legislation, delivering training, and managing waste control. We are working with a well-established aerospace manufacturer that designs, manufactures, and assembles precision-forged and machined components at a fully integrated UK facility. With over seventy years of industry leadership, they continue to set new standards through investment and innovation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior HSE Advisor to join a forward-thinking company that holds AS9100 and NADCAP accreditations and is renowned for delivering high-quality components to exacting industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensuring compliance with UK environmental, health, and safety legislation by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Delivering EHS training programs to employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Investigating accidents and incidents, determining root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
• Managing waste and emissions control processes, ensuring compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
• Preparing and submitting detailed reports on EHS performance and compliance to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Driving continuous improvement in EHS practices by adopting industry best practices and innovative solutions.
• Maintaining accurate databases and spreadsheets for waste management, accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Coordinating the internal audit schedule and managing all associated record-keeping.
• Supporting additional duties as needed, recognising that job content may vary.

Skills and Qualifications:
• A relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in EHS management within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of UK EHS legislation and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence engaging at all organisational levels.
• Proficiency in EHS management systems and software.
• Capability to deliver effective and engaging EHS training programs.
