Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Managed Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist in North Charleston, SC. Candidates should have over 5 years of EHS experience, strong risk assessment skills, and knowledge of safety standards. The role requires physical capabilities to navigate various environments and use PPE. Strong communication skills are essential for interaction with management and production staff. This is a contractor position with no degree required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) roles, with proven ability to perform detailed risk assessments.

Comprehensive knowledge of current safety standards and regulations relevant to risk assessments.

Physical ability to:

Safely navigate uneven terrain.

Use stairs and ladders safely.

Perform extensive walking or standing as required.

Work in environments that may be hot, cold, or dusty.

Sit for prolonged periods when necessary.

Proficiency in using computers and tablets for documentation and reporting.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management and production employees.

Ability to wear and work in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to N95 respirators,

PAPRs, safety shoes, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, and bump caps or hard hats.

Willingness to:

Remove all jewelry, including wedding bands and religious items, while on the production floor.
