Job Description

LaForce is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include developing safety policies, conducting inspections, and supporting compliance efforts. Candidates should have a degree in safety management or related experience. This is an onsite position with periodic travel required, offering a full benefits package.
Are you passionate about workplace safety and eager to make a meaningful impact? LaForce is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to help sustain our strong safety culture across our offices, manufacturing, and field installation teams.

As an EHS Coordinator, you’ll assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations while developing hands-on skills that will set you up for a successful career in safety. This is an onsite position with periodic travel to branch locations as needed.

What You’ll Do:
• Assist in developing and implementing safety policies and training programs.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Support new hire safety orientations and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Maintain safety records and help manage LaForce’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Contribute to environmental compliance efforts.
• Support DOT compliance and maintain driver safety records.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and help drive preventative safety initiatives.
• Assist with safety audits and bid pre-qualifications.
• Travel periodically to branch locations as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
• A degree in safety management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations (OSHA 30 certification preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to evolving situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and training management.
