Job Description
Walsall Council is hiring two full-time Environmental Health Officers to manage regulatory and advisory tasks related to food safety, health, and public health. Applicants need a recognized qualification in Environmental Health and a full UK driving license. The position is office-based at the Civic Centre in Walsall, offering an opportunity to develop skills within a supportive team. The salary ranges from £39,513 to £44,711.

Contract: Full Time - 37 hours
Car Allowance: Casual
Office Location: Civic Centre, Darwall Street, Walsall or as otherwise directed.
What are we looking for?
Walsall Council is seeking two enthusiastic Environmental Health Officers to work in a busy team to deliver a wide range of regulatory and advisory activities covering food safety, occupational health and safety, infectious diseases, animal licensing and public health promotion.

About you
Applicants must hold a recognised diploma, degree, or MSc in Environmental Health and possess full registration with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or as a Registered CIEH Environmental Health Practitioner or equivalent.
A full clean UK driving license is required for this role.
