Safety Specialist - Oil and Gas Industry

We are looking for a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive EHS Management System and Programs through continuous field assessments, ensuring compliance with International Best Practices & Local Authority EHS Regulations and Standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the oil and gas industry, specifically in EHS roles. They will also have excellent communication and report writing skills, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret data.

Main Responsibilities
• Ensure application of a proactive EHS Field Plan focused on protecting the health & safety of field personnel and EPCL assets.
• Accountable for a designated geographical area of the Refinery.
• Deliver Safety Programs to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions.
• Participate in Hazard Identification & Control meetings for all non-routine work within their area.
• Respond to refinery emergencies as needed.
