Position Responsibilities The engineer or scientist hired will provide technical support for a variety of interesting and innovative projects in LimnoTech's service areas, including: Water quality and hydrologic modeling and watershed assessments Contaminant fate and transport Watershed, stream and lake analysis, restoration, and design Stormwater management and planning Ecosystem restoration assessment and design Corporate water risk assessments and water stewardship strategy Our scientists and engineers work closely with senior staff to develop sound approaches for addressing our clients' problems. The selected candidate will prepare technical reports and proposals, present project information to clients and stakeholders, and support the development of client relationships.

Required Qualifications The following are required qualifications for this job position: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related scientific discipline from an accredited university program is required.

Master's degree and/or work experience is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as are strong analytical and computational abilities. Must be legally able to work in the U.S

for any employer (proper documentation is required). In addition, some of the following skills are desirable, but not required: Familiarity or experience with one or more the topics mentioned under "position responsibilities". Training or experience in data management and GIS.

Capabilities with R, Visual Basic, Python, or web development programming. Ability to do occasional field work. Experience or interest in business and client development Compensation LimnoTech values and rewards high achievement within a supportive working community.

The salary for this position will be determined based on working from LimnoTech's Los Angeles office, as well as the candidate's years and type of experience, degrees earned, and fit with job requirements, and is expected to range between $65,000 and $120,000 annually. Our collegial environment and management structure aren't for everyone; there is no formal "corporate ladder" to climb.
