What You'll Do

As an Environmental Staff Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting environmental remediation projects across Colorado. Expect a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, working alongside seasoned engineers, project managers, and junior staff.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include
• Collecting air, soil, and groundwater samples and operating field instruments.
• Supporting or leading pilot tests (air sparge, soil vapor extraction, etc.).
• Interpreting lab data and recommending next steps.
• Creating technical reports, maps, figures, and analytical tables.
• Helping design environmental systems (BOMs, P&IDs, process flow diagrams).
• Overseeing remediation system installations and startups.
• Participating in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
• Mentoring junior staff and helping them grow their careers.

What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (environmental, civil, or related).
• 2+ years of experience in environmental or oil & gas engineering.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently or in a team setting.
• Familiarity with State Regulations and environmental compliance.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid driver’s license.
• Consulting experience? Big plus!

The Work Environment

You’ll split your time between our Wheat Ridge, CO office and the field.

Fieldwork may include walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in all weather conditions. We provide the proper PPE and training to keep you safe.

Most field sites are local (within 1–2 hours). Limited overnight travel required.
