Job Summary

Large manufacturing company is seeking an Environmental Engineer for their facility located between Cincinnati and Louisville. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences (or related technical field) and experience working in manufacturing or heavy industry.

Responsibilities
• Ensure the facility's compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials management.
• Prepare and submit required environmental permits, reports, and documentation (air emissions inventories, discharge monitoring reports, waste manifests).
• Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
• Provide environmental input and guidance on capital projects and process changes.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects.
