Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with environmental expertise to prepare and oversee the production of environmental documents, while collaborating closely with professionals in land development and transportation. The ideal candidate will have a substantial background in land development, transportation design, and project management, with a proven track record of client growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Environmental Planning & Engineering: Lead or conduct environmental assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Environmental Documents: Prepare and oversee the production of environmental documents, including Environmental Impact Statements.
• Project Management: Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
• Design: Develop detailed engineering designs and plans for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Land Development: Oversee land development projects from concept to completion, including site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Transportation: Manage and design transportation projects, including traffic analysis, roadway design, and transportation planning.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, regional, and national regulations and standards.
Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience in civil engineering with a focus on environmental documentation, design, land development, and transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Ability to manage land development projects from concept to completion, including site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Experience in designing and managing transportation projects, including traffic analysis, roadway design, and transportation planning.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure.
