Job Description

VoltaGrid LLC is seeking an Environmental Coordinator in Houston, TX, responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives. The role involves managing environmental data, supporting reporting for stationary source facilities, and collaborating with field safety representatives. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in HSE, strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, and knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Position Title: ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR
Location: HOUSTON, TX FLSA
Class: EXEMPT
Responsible to: SENIOR DIRECTOR, HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT

Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the Company complies with environmental regulations, policies, and sustainability initiatives. Provide environmental data support and reporting for stationary source facilities requiring compliance with environmental regulations. Position will also work with stationary source field safety representatives to meet the reporting and recordkeeping requirements associated with federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental data from internal systems and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations associated with gas fired equipment such as engines, turbines, heaters and dehydration units.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance software.
• Communication with field personnel.

Other Requirements:
• Minimum of 3+ years in an HSE function
• Highly knowledgeable on applicable Health, Safety, and Environment regulations and best practices.
• Sound decision-making is based upon a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
• Fosters open dialogue by inviting input and creates strong morale and can-do spirit within the team.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams and committees.
• Invites input from each person and shares ownership and visibility.
• Employs active listening skills.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to find common ground and solve problems.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
