Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and over 8 years of relevant experience. This position involves both client interaction and internal collaboration to enhance regulatory services in the region.
A rapidly growing consulting firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to lead the efforts in assisting all existing and new clients in the region to achieve and maintain environmental regulatory compliance. The incumbent will be servicing various clients in the region and is expected to be a seller-doer and take part in helping the company's growth. The individual should have solid expertise with regulatory experience in areas such as stormwater, wastewater, and SPCC.

This is a hybrid role with the ability to work out of either Lexington or Louisville, KY.

The role:
• Grow and expand the existing regulatory compliance services in the region.
• Prepare air, waste, and water permit applications and compliance reports for various clients.
• Develop operational plans and reports such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention, TRI, SPCC, and Contingency Plans.
• Conduct on-site visits as needed and lead inspections with clients, including delivering training.
• Work collaboratively within the regulatory department to provide support for other technical areas of environmental compliance.

The candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of comprehensive technical experience in environmental permitting and compliance.
• Independent and self-driven, able to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people-person, able to conduct client visits and manage internal employees.
