About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with clients across a range of projects both nationally and locally. You will be responsible for supporting Project Directors and Project Managers in the delivery of contaminated land management projects.
Salary: $75,000-85,000 plus super
Tasks and responsibilities
• Support senior staff in high-profile and technically complex contaminated land management projects.
• Prepare reports consistent with relevant guidance, ensuring technical defensibility.
• Develop relationships with clients and ensure high quality customer service throughout projects.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations and appropriate scoping.
• Collaborate and contribute to business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the organisation.
About you
• 1-2 years of experience in various environmental sampling methodologies for soil, soil vapor, indoor air, ambient air, hazardous materials, groundwater, and surface water.
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering is essential, with an understanding of earth sciences highly desirable.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to write accurate reports and complex proposals.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Full drivers licence, and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
