About the position

As an Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Intern at Sazerac, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Environmental Compliance team. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about environmental science and sustainability, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. You will collaborate closely with our Operations Team to research and implement various sustainability projects that align with our organizational goals. Throughout the 12-week summer internship, which runs from May 19th, 2025, to August 9th, 2025, you will engage in a variety of tasks that will enhance your understanding of environmental compliance and sustainability practices. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and interpreting environmental regulations, supporting the preparation and submission of compliance reports, and helping to monitor and track environmental performance metrics. You will also participate in internal audits and inspections, assist in maintaining compliance records, and contribute to the development of compliance programs and initiatives. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in professional development workshops, networking events, and social activities. You will work with a mentor to develop project plans, set goals, and receive continuous feedback throughout your internship. At the end of the summer, you will present your project findings, showcasing your contributions to the team. Responsibilities

Requirements
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, law, or a related field.

• Anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.

• 3.0 cumulative GPA.
