• *Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring our operations meet or exceed all relevant environmental regulations.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide guidance to property management and construction services teams on hazardous materials and waste management, lead-based paint, and asbestos-containing materials.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including quarterly inspections of shops and maintenance of records and spill response notifications.
• Collaborate with government partners, consultants, and legal counsel to maintain regulatory adherence to environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage radon testing and reporting, advise on air permits as necessary, and oversee unexploded ordnance (UXO) management.
• *Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, other Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• At least 10 years' working experience related to environmental compliance.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, HUD, DOT, CA DTSC).
• Environmental certifications including IICRC WRT/AMRT, DOT, CHMM or other environmental certifications preferred.
