Environmental Compliance Officer

Job Overview:
The Environmental Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). This includes managing the treatment processes, monitoring plant performance, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and capacity.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for providing program oversight and strategic direction for environmental management at our large multi-line manufacturing facility. You will work closely with plant leadership to drive environmental compliance and support sustainability initiatives reducing waste, water, and energy while protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure environmental compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and implement sustainability initiatives that reduce waste, water, and energy use.
• Provide training and guidance to EHS staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement and develop recommendations to address these issues.
