Environmental Chemist

Kelly Science is hiring an Environmental Chemist in Concord, MA, offering $30-35/hour. Responsibilities include soil sample preparation, analysis using ICP-OES, data input, and communication with field crews. A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or chemistry is preferred, along with relevant laboratory experience. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and is temp-to-hire, with various employee benefits available.
Kelly Science is seeking an Environmental Chemist for a growing environmental services company located near Concord, MA.

Pay: $30-35/hour depending on experience

Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Employment Type: Full Time; Temp-to-hire

Job Duties Include
• Performing soil sample preparation, digestion, analysis, quality control and report production.
• Utilizing ICP-OES for analysis of soil samples (approximately 20-40 samples as day)
• Assist with inputting data, reviewing data, preparing coolers for shipment when needed.
• Interacting with field crews and communicating results as needed.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.
• Experience working within an environmental laboratory, experience with soil sample analysis, or utilizing ICP instrumentation strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in fast paced environment and strong organizational skills.
