Join our internship program designed for passionate students committed to sustainability and environmental protection. As an intern, you will engage in hands-on tasks that include handling, segregating, and packing chemical waste while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Work experiences are both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and client locations where you will assist in lab packs, household hazardous waste (HHW) collections, and lab relocations. You will also have the chance to shadow professionals across various roles within our organization, providing a comprehensive view of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safety practices and protocols.
• Create packing lists, labels, and manifests using computer software.
• Inspect storage drums to ensure compliance with labeling standards.
• Efficiently collect and package waste chemicals for proper disposal.
• Collaborate on projects at diverse customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Conduct sampling and analysis of new waste streams requiring testing.
• Learn about different roles in the organization through shadowing opportunities.
• Comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• Uphold company guidelines regarding environmental health and safety.
• Network with peers during our internship program events.
• Present a final project at the conclusion of your internship.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (Junior or Senior status is preferred).
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
