Environmental Attorney

Western Resource Advocates is seeking an Environmental Attorney in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves representing the organization in regulatory proceedings, providing counsel on energy regulation and climate policy, and preparing legal documents with guidance from senior team members. The position is full-time and requires negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements.
Key Responsibilities

• Represent WRA in state and regional level utility regulatory and planning proceedings, courts, legislative bodies, with guidance from a senior team member.
• Provide counsel and strategic advice regarding state and federal energy regulation, climate policy, and administrative law with guidance from a senior team member.
• Prepare discovery, pleadings, briefs, oral argument, cross-examination, and testimony for regulatory proceedings with guidance from a senior team member.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements with guidance from a senior team member.
