Environmental Associate, Days

Norton Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Associate in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting hospital areas and maintaining sanitary conditions. The role requires no prior experience, as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be passionate about patient care and community service. A high school diploma or GED is desired, and the position is full-time.
Responsibilities

As an Environmental Associate, your job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the high level of care and customer service provided by Norton Healthcare. Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following for your assigned area: Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings. Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
