Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Environmental Analyst at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The role involves monitoring manufacturing practices for environmental compliance, conducting environmental impact analyses, and developing NEPA documentation. Environmental Analyst

Key Role:

Monitor manufacturing practices and processes for environmental considerations and ensure adherence to company policies , industry practices, and governmental regulations. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in a scientific, engineering, or environmental field involving environmental impact analyses
• 1+ years of experience assessing environmental impacts and assisting with developing NEPA documentation
• Experience with resource consult ations, including cultural and historic, in support of NEPA
• Experience with planning and permitting for projects in California
• Knowledge of California Coastal Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service environmental policy , and California State environmental regulations
• Knowledge of NEPA, executive orders, laws, regulations, and policies throughout the NEPA process
• Ability to be highly motivated and demonstrate a dynamic work ethic
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with Santa Barbara County environmental policy
• Experience working on the Western Range Spaceport
• Experience developing recommendations for the mitigation of adverse environmental impacts or other measures to avoid confrontation or regulatory delays
• Experience with historic properties
• Experience with stakeholder e nga gement, including working with NGOs, community partners, and decision-makers
• Ability to think critically as a project lead, multi-task, and work closely with a team to execute project activities under strict timelines or deadlines
• Ability to write, edit, and format complex documents using Micro sof t Word
• Ability to use SharePoint and MS Teams in a collaborative environment
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations using Micro sof t PowerPoint
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
