Environmental Advisor

JD Ross Energy is seeking an Environmental Advisor in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. About the role:

This is an advisory position for a national, Australian owned construction company, working on a major Queensland project.

Role requirements:

• Work with project manager to define project environment goals and objectives.

• Develop and deliver training programs.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance and manage environmental risks.

• Ensure site environmental compliance via weekly environmental inspections.

• Assist with project management.

• Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support the project team to achieve project Sustainability Targets.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with TMR environmental standards, Queensland environmental legislation, and best practices related to infrastructure projects.

• At least 3years’ experience in construction, mining, or similar industries.

• Knowledge of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) practices.
