Job Description

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include creating safety procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, evaluating contractors, identifying risks, and reporting on safety performance. Key Responsibilities
• Safety Procedures
• Create and documentLock Out Tag Out (LOTO)procedures-used to safely disable equipment during maintenance.
• Ensure all procedures follow legal and company safety standards.
• Contractor & Vendor Safety Compliance
• Help evaluate and onboard contractors and vendors by using internal databases (like Avetta, BROWZ) to ensure they meet safety requirements.
• Hazard Recognition & Risk Minimization
• Identify potential environmental or safety risks.
• Provide guidance to reduce safety issues in areas like Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk.
• Communication & Reporting
• Provide regular updates to management and project teams on safety performance and project status.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Make sure that all safety practices comply withCal/OSHA (California Occupational Safety and Health)regulations and other federal laws.
• Relationship Building
• Build good working relationships with team members and contractors to maintain a strong safety culture.
