Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of Health and Safety programs.

• Drive a comprehensive, multi-year strategy towards Health & Safety excellence.

• Provide strategic leadership, training, and guidance for the Safety department including people, data, and budgetary responsibility.

• Lead the conduction of accident investigations, root cause analysis, and compile accident reports.

• Provide technical expertise and support plant on regulatory compliance issues in Safety.
,
• Build world-class safety programs and manage Safety Committees.
,
• Plan, implement, and ensure effective training of all H&S programs.
,
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
,
• Ensure effective communication and compliance with State, Federal, Local, and Corporate Safety regulations.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, or related experience in lieu of degree.

• 7+ years H&S experience in a medium to large manufacturing plant.
,
• 5+ years of supervisory/leadership/management experience.
,
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
,
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
,
• Experience in leading accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
,
• Lean / Continuous Improvement mindset.
,
• Solid ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influence safety culture, and drive compliance initiatives.
