Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager (EHS)

Our client, an internationally-recognized, multi-billion dollar manufacturing company is seeking to hire an EH&S
Manager for their 800+ employee plant located in western Iowa. As the EH&S Manager you will be responsible for
leading and supporting the development of and implementation of a facility-wide safety culture through technical
support, program development, and relationship building.
Responsibilities for the EH&S Manager:
-Manages all aspects of environmental, health, safety and sustainable development programs.
-Lead a team of employees who support the EH&S programs.
-Lead the development of and implementation of a facility wide EHS culture through technical support, program
development, and partnerships.
-Deliver programs to train managers and employees.
-Actively engage with all employees to promote plant safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability
stewardship.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety or directly related.
-3+years of hands-on, in-plant EHS experience within a manufacturing plant.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance and achieve goals. Experience building and leading
teams.
-Experience in conducting inspections and audits to detect existing or potential accidents and determine
corrective/preventative measures.
-Proven success in promoting an accident-free environment by developing, implementing and maintaining
programs.
