About the position

The EHS&S Manager at Amphenol CIT is responsible for developing and promoting the business unit's environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs. This role is crucial in leading the EH&S and Sustainability teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices, incident reporting, and corrective actions. The manager will focus on reducing environmental waste, enhancing recycling practices, and cutting energy use to lower greenhouse gas emissions and the company's overall carbon footprint. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to align the organization’s EH&S and ESG goals, ensuring that all initiatives are in sync with the company's strategic objectives. In this position, the EHS&S Manager will oversee the execution and efficacy of the EHS&S programs, working closely with departmental managers to facilitate timely and constructive performance evaluations. The role involves coordinating and improving safety and sustainability activities across various sites, emphasizing continuous improvement through corrective and preventive actions. The manager will support Near Miss programs and share best practices across sites, ensuring that key metrics are reported and compliance with sustainability data reporting is maintained, including waste, energy, and water usage. The EHS&S Manager will lead and coordinate cross-site audits of safety and sustainability programs, track compliance with ISO14001 and ISO50001 environmental standards, and report on sustainability programs to the CIT executive team. Developing key performance indicators (KPIs), audit processes, and procedures will be part of the role, along with analyzing and enhancing company policies and processes for safety and sustainability improvements. The manager will also evaluate sustainability proposals for cost-effectiveness and feasibility, maintain documentation and budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations. Training facilitation will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to adhere to safety and sustainability standards.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

• Three to five years of business and management experience required.

• Demonstrated experience in achieving safety and sustainability goals.

• Ongoing awareness of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

• Working knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO50001.

• Strong project management skills.
