Job Description

The Mississippi State Personnel Board is seeking an Environmental/Natural Resources Technician in Minnesota. Examples of Work

Third-level environmental and/or geological position accountable for collecting specific/natural resources data and samples, assisting in the preparation of reports and disseminating information. This work involves the routine application of engineering principles or geological principles related to environmental activities with nominal decision making. Positions at this level also require knowledge of the basic characteristics of the data collected for proper data entry.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires completion of four (4) years (one hundred and twenty (120) semester hours) of college from an accredited college or university, thirty (30) hours of which shall have been in an engineering field or a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, including a minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) hours in geological course work from an accredited four-year college or university.
