Burgess Paluch is seeking an Environmental & Climate Change Lawyer at the Associate level in Sydney, Australia. The role involves advisory, transactional, and dispute work related to energy transition, treaty commitments, and renewable energy projects. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Partner and focuses on sustainability, ESG, and climate-related policies. This is a full-time role with options for working from home.

You will be an Environmental & Climate Change Lawyer at Associate level.
Your new role
Will see you working closely with a Partner who has 20 years of substantial expertise in all aspects of environmental and climate change law. Assist your clients with your specialist service offering in the delivery of their energy transition mandates.
The climate-related work includes treaty commitments, commercial/contractual work in relation to carbon capture and storage project delivery and advisory, nature investment contracting and training, advisory work to Boards and Executives on sustainability and climate-related statements, policies and disclosures.
