Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager located in Kansas City, KS. The EHS Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting accident investigations, and developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures. The role involves conducting regular safety training sessions, overseeing occupational health measures, and coordinating environmental health and safety programs to maintain a safe work environment. Daily tasks include site inspections, risk assessments, and liaising with relevant authorities to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health
• Skills in conducting Accident Investigations and implementing preventive measures
• Capability in delivering comprehensive safety Training programs
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Lockout Tagout experience
• At least 5 years in General Industry
• OSHA 501 or 511 is a plus
• Certification in EHS or similar credentials is a plus
