Position openings at Anchorage Engineering/Science Firm
Small local firm is looking for 2-4 year experienced Alaskan environmental engineer or environmental scientist to join our dynamic and fun team. Our firm has more than 30 years of consulting in Alaska and retains an impressive list of governmental and private industry clients and is locally known for professionalism, responsiveness, and creativity.
Employee engineering skills that will be developed include, water, wastewater and stormwater treatment, environmental remediation and associated pollution prevention. This engineering design work overlaps nicely with skills that our team environmental scientists engage in such as hydrologic and water quality studies, stormwater management, and environmental characterization. Related frequent areas of work include preparing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans along with a wide variety of project design and permitting.

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
